My husband and I were given a gift card to Urban Distilleries almost 2.5 years ago when they were still on the Westside, and shortly after I became pregnant so we never got to use it. We found it in a drawer recently and messaged their Instagram account to see if we could still use it- they said absolutely! We rarely have a baby free night and last week on Tuesday night after running some errands we thought we would stop in and check it out. We didn’t think to look at what time they closed and we walked in at 6:15. The bartender Krista let us know that we had 15 minutes to put a food order in and we said we would come back another time as I’m sure all the staff wanted to get home! She was adamant that we come in and assured us there was time. She was so, so lovely and made us the BEST espresso martinis. The kitchen was kind enough to accept our order of muscles and they were the best we’ve had in town by a long shot. We were blown away by Krista’s hospitality and how welcoming she was, we chatted with her for most of our visit. She let us know about the Speak Easy, told us all about the menu and gave great recommendations for our next visit. We will absolutely be back on our next date night to check out the Speak Easy and the larger menu! Thank you so much again to Krista and the kitchen staff who absolutely made our night! We can’t wait to start bringing our out of town guests here as well!
The cocktails weren't very good... expresso martini didn't have expresso in it, mojito didn't have muddled mint, just a garnish on top, the deviled eggs were the highlight but a pretty small serving, service was friendly but slow... seems like they got some money behind them the venue is nicely designed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend
Go to this place! Really! Just go! We were a party of 8 and they accommodated us so nicely! Creative cocktails, excellent food and first-rate service. NOTE: Open Table seating options are listed as outside or bar (which I take to mean seats along the bar). They have those options but so much more! Standard table seating, comfy living-room type chairs and even semi-private areas. Wonderful!
