The scenic canyon in Kelowna is truly a hidden gem! The rock formations are stunning, with little caves that make exploring so much fun. I really enjoyed walking through the dense forest—it felt peaceful and refreshing—and then sitting by the water’s edge in the canyon was the perfect way to take it all in. The natural beauty here is absolutely spectacular, and it’s a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for a unique and breathtaking experience in Kelowna.

Find more on PinterestBritish Columbia really knows how to build park areas, we have some really cool national parks in the States, but it seems like everywhere I go here in British Columbia, there's a really amazing park. There's numerous trails here, so finding one that fits your comfort level shouldn't be a problem. As always, leave it better than you found it, and enjoy 😉.
Grat location for families to go for a hike with kids, my son is 3, and he enjoyed it a lot as we did. The oven caves were interesting for him, and of course, throwing gravels into the water. Super peaceful and mostly shade of the trees 🌳. The layered cake mountain was also fascinating. The round trip takes about 2 hours with a kid.
Really nice spot to explore! Nice variety of walking trails - beautiful bridge crossings, viewpoints, wildflowers, pond life, and more. The out and back nature of the trails means that you can go for a nice short stroll or a longer more involved adventure. One nice addition is that there are channels on the stairs to roll your bikes up/down. Trails are mostly well maintained, but some of the stair sections are collapsing and need rebuilding. Looking forward to our next visit.
