We're new to town and had been highly recommended to come here so maybe it was just an off night. I think we made a mistake going on the first day they were open after a long break. It was cold in the restaurant, most of our food was barely warm, the service was just average (especially for a 25th anniversary). They were great about explaining what was gluten free (I have celiac). The wine pairings were mostly good although I didn't love the Queue with the beef cheeks personally. The grilled octopus although barely warm was delicious and the soup of the day was both hot and delicious. My husband's elk striploin and sauce was really delicious but cool and his accompaniments were just ok. Even with the Taste Around special it was very expensive for what we received in my opinion.

Find more on PinterestGreat winery restaurant definitely worth visiting. The food was excellent, although as typically for fine dining, portions are smaller and prices are expected to be higher. Service was great and servers attended to tables as necessary with good attention. Atmosphere is higher end, as it is a winery, and views are great as well!! Had the cheese fondue, and a few appetizers and mains, worth checking for yourself!
The restaurant located on the winery is exquisite. One can eat indoors or on a deck outdoors with fire pits to stay warm in the cooler fall days. We opted for indoors. The restaurant has a wall of windows looking out over the vineyard or beyond. The menu has suggested pairings with each item - which we went with, and the pairings worked very well. The octopus appetizer was beautiful and delicious, positioned atop a red pepper with fried chickpeas humus. The mushroom risotto was very tasty, although not so taken with the accompanying picked mushrooms. The saffron apple and burrita appetizer sounded nice, but was a little disappointing in terms of presentation, and had no wow. The tuna tataki with aeoli sauce, Japanese vegetable salad was tasty - a highlight was crispy, crunchy sushi rice. The service was professional throughout.
Everything we had here was prepared perfectly. The salmon, the flat iron and the risotto were all incredible. The wine recommendations made by both the waitress and the menu were great. 08 Nov update We went here again about 3 months after my initial review and had a spectacular dinner. It is rare to see a vegetarian Chef’s tasting and they had one. It was incredible and i can not recommend this restaurant enough.
