I shared the bolognese, carbonara, and nashville hot chicken sliders with a friend. It was all very good for the most part. My only complaint about the food was the sliders. The chicken was crispy, juicy, tender, and JUST the right amount of spicy. The bread was cold and a tad too doughy. I was glad i got the sliders and not the full sandwich because sharing all the other dishes was an absolute treat.
(Also definitely get the mousse).
In terms of atmosphere, the entire restaurant was an odd mix of fine dining meets sports bar. Was I upset by it? Not really. Was it kind of strange? Yes. This is just so you're aware of what you're getting yourself into.
Our server was an absolute delight and really was an excellent guide through the menu. I think her name was Nicole. I'm having trouble remembering. GO HERE.
Enjoying the lakeside view, delicious food, and a laid-back vibe — yes, you can have it all at King Taps! We came here for dinner, and every dish was full of flavor and care.
It’s a great spot for families, friends, or couples — with a beautiful atmosphere and tasty food. There’s a parking lot right next to the restaurant, though spaces are limited. A good alternative is to park near City Hall and take a short walk over while enjoying the lake view along the way!
The brunch is amazing here! We tried three different dishes. The breakfast pizza with creamy leek sauce was divine. They offer to add hollandaise but imo it would be too rich. Their huevos rancheros has a fresh presentation and is a nice lighter option. If you want a really decadent buttery dish, go for the bacon benny on croissant. Definitely great food for the prices!
Sorry no photos to add, was too busy enjoying our brunch!
