When I worked nearby, I regularly ordered their breakfast sandwich and then soup for lunch. Great value for the $. I have tried many of the daily soups and the are all wonderful, even ones that I normally wouldn’t order. They give you a big chunk of their homemade bread to have with it that just completes the lunch so nicely! If you’re lucky, you can snag some day-old baking and bread for a discount as well! The staff are always so friendly, wish my lunch break was longer so I could enjoy the atmosphere longer.
I also used to get their sandwiches on WestJet when they used to be the caterer for the flights that came through YLW. They had an incredible Cajun chicken sandwich that I still remember after all these years. They are the leaders in comfort sandwiches, hands down!
Was hankering for a full on breakfast. Placed our orders and then were told a couple minutes later that breakfast was over. Got refunded then had to order a sandwich.
Suggestion to manager: during holidays serve breakfast until 12 noon. Or at least have a couple of egg/ brunch options.
We love supporting a local place on our Kelowna visits!
Positives: server was very nice! Soup was tasty!
I was just in 30 minutes ago or so to buy 2 sandwiches, chicken triple decker / clucker.
1. Nothing about it was a triple decker, 2 very fallen apart loafs of bread.
2. The “triple” deckers groceries unfortunately, tomatoes/lettuce, etc were very soggy and mushy.. I am a chef by trade and know the difference between food sitting snd how they hold and genuine soggy ingredients. Chicken was bland. There were 3 small strips of peppers? And the by the time I got home, which was a 5-7 minutes walk home, the bread was mush and already fallen apart. Sadly!
3. The ingredients on the second sandwich were the same along with the bread.
Overall, too have to pay $30 and some change for two sandwiches of this quality is very unfortunate.
Coffee was fantastic as always. Food experience has been less good than anticipated.
